Human chip implants: embedding pitfalls

Responding to my own article: I ascertained that the chip's design and placement is compatible with MRI.
Thanks for your interest in VeriChip - and your follow-up. Indeed, you are right. Establishing MRI compatability was an important part of the FDA approval process.

To answer your first question, the VeriChip microchip is a read-only decice. The informaiton on the chip (which only contains a unique 16-digit number and no personal information) cannot be altered.
